Gianna is Purl Soho’s Junior Knitwear Designer + Sample Coordinator, working from her home base in Denver, Colorado. She first joined Purl Soho in 2019 as a sales associate in the shop, where her love of yarn quickly grew into a design career. Gianna studied Fashion Design at Pratt Institute, specializing in hand knitwear, following in the footsteps of her grandmother, who also designed knitwear. She brings that legacy into her work today, combining technical expertise with a deep appreciation for the beauty of handmade. When she’s not knitting, you’ll likely find Gianna skiing black diamond runs in the Rockies, hiking mountain trails with her mini dachshund, Dove, or perfecting a new shade on her nails.
