Named for the feathery catkins that dust winter’s bare branches, our Catkin Wrap pattern echoes that softness in stitch and fiber. Knit in Cashmere Merino Bloom, it glows with a downy, kitten-soft halo.

The easy slip-stitch pattern unfolds over a four-row repeat that will feel second nature in no time. Wrapped stitches sculpt plush, catkin-like clusters, a satisfyingly flat fabric with two equally lovely, distinct sides—perfect for a wrap.

An irresistible mix of 25% cashmere and 75% extra fine merino wool, Cashmere Merino Bloom is a classic DK-weight knitting yarn with extraordinary softness and a delicate, hazy halo. Sumptuous cashmere is balanced by the resilient bounce of fine merino, uniting the best qualities of both fibers. In the Catkin Wrap, the result is fabric that feels dense and warm in the hand, yet falls with the relaxed drape of fine cashmere.

Choose from a palette of fascinating colors, including High Tide, a deep blue full of mystery and radiant luminosity. You’ll need six skeins of Cashmere Merino Bloom to knit this generous wrap size, or four for a smaller scarf version.

Soft as can be and wonderfully warm, your Catkin Wrap will be a work of quiet beauty, rooted in nature’s rich textures.
