Continue ShoppingDuet Hat
Lush and beautiful, our free Duet Hat pattern gives the lead to our recycled Echo Wool yarn, with mohair-silk Tussock sounding a soaring note. Knitting these two yarns together creates a harmony that’s richer than either voice alone!

For this super simple pattern, you work rhythmic 1×1 ribbing in the round for a generous, double-folded cuff that will keep your ears snug, then shape the crown in four spokes, with thoughtful decreases that perfectly resolve the ribbed fabric. The captivating resonance of tweedy Echo Wool and luminous mohair makes the rounds fly by, and knitting at a dense gauge creates a plush, squishy fabric that you won’t be able to stop touching.

Sounding the bass note is Echo Wool, our 100% recycled wool sport- to DK-weight yarn, flecked with colorful nepps that reflect the variety of recycled wool fibers that went into its making. Lace-weight Tussock, 60% super fine kid mohair and 40% mulberry silk, adds a radiant glow and transforms the color of your Duet Hat in surprising ways… Play with pairings and discover how mohair makes its voice heard.

With hundreds of possible color harmonies to explore, the easy-knitting Duet Hat is this season’s hit gift knit!
