Continue ShoppingCollected Cables Blanket
Our Collected Cables Blanket pattern is like delving into a cedar chest full of classic Aran sweaters and picking your favorite cable from each one. To knit your own, you’ll need just one Till On A Cone, a whopping 1,000 grams of ready-to-knit Andean highland wool yarn. Its plump, tidy spin makes your cables larger than life, while its wonderfully wooly character is just what you want for a blanket meant to last generations.

Of course, cable lovers will be right at home, but this is also a great project for building cable-knitting confidence. Our helpful tutorials for knitting cables and reading charts will guide you along the way, and if you prefer written instructions, we have those, too! As you knit, you’ll soon find your rhythm, discovering the satisfying mathematical logic of the pattern as you learn to navigate all six cable patterns with ease.

Till will give your knitting a lovable vintage sensibility, with every stitch full of sheepy goodness thanks to beautiful wool from the rugged Andean highlands. Its cushiony 4-ply spin and worsted-to-chunky weight combine to create marvelously dimensional cables and a plush, substantial hand, while its toasty warmth will comfort you all winter long.

You only need one Till On A Cone to knit your Collected Cables Blanket, which means no skeins to wind and only two ends to weave in when you’re finished. That’s a bountiful 1,360 yards of happy knitting to look forward to, all with this gorgeous, timeless yarn!
