Hi Betsy,
Thanks for reaching out! Big knitting was quite the trend this year! We carry small and large balls of K1S1 which use 50 mm (larger than US 50) needles or you can arm knit with it! A small bump of K1S1 will make a a throw that measures approximately 25 x 35 inches. We have blanket pattern for the large bump of K1S1 and it that can be found here: https://www.purlsoho.com/create/2015/11/16/big-little-dandelion-garter-blanket/
For the small blanket, you would cast on 12 or 13 stitches and for the large blanket, you cast on 24 stitches!
