Loosely spun and minimally processed, natural and raw, Field Linen is everything we love about linen! Created in Japan, it has an untouched beauty that evokes a time when flax was turned into linen by hand. A fingering or even sport weight, Field Linen creates a fine, durable fabric with the distinctive drape and cool touch of linen. And with almost 300 yards per skein, it is perfect for generous three-season wraps and pretty sweaters, as well as absorbent and timeless housewares. Knit it, weave it, crochet it, discover Field Linen's immense beauty!
TIP: As with all plant fibers, we recommend pulling Field Linen from the outside, rather than inside, of the ball.
NOTE: If using dark, saturated colors with lighter colors, we recommend taking the precaution of soaking the dark colors first in a vinegar and cold water bath to remove excess dye.
