A collection of straight-from-nature undyed neutrals, Sweetgrass reminds us of the reasons we love to knit!
About This Yarn
- Sweetgrass is made in Peru with 65% organic cotton and 35% superfine alpaca, a surprising blend that combines simplicity with elegance and breezy with toasty.
- The superfine alpaca is 100% traceable and hypoallergenic with its near lack of lanolin. It comes in a lovely range of six colors, all from the natural variety of the animals' fleeces. The organic cotton in Sweetgrass is an undyed warm white, and when mixed with the alpaca, it creates a beautiful, soft heather.
- A fingering-weight yarn that knits up at about 7 stitches per inch on US 2 or 3 needles, use Sweetgrass for absolutely beautiful three-season scarves, wraps, and sweaters, or double it for super cabin-y blankets. Our collection of knitting patterns for Sweetgrass has all the inspiration you need!
- At 437 yards per skein, you’ll go far with just a few skeins of this yarn!
