Our Best Easter Projects Ever!
If the reality of our days right now is dirty snowbanks and slush puddles, at least our daydreams can be filled with prancing lambs and fluffy white bunnies! Over the years, the Purl Bee has created quite a collection of spirit-lifting Easter projects, from the soft and cuddly to the sweet and pretty. Here are some of our favorites!

Perfection..I love it!
Over the years I have made the little lamb finger puppets, the bunny finger puppets, and little lamb pillows.
I made two sets of bunnies (4 large and 8 small) in pretty colors. One set was sent to my grand-daughter who loved them. The second set was arranged in a flat pink basket with a little white crinkle grass and some tiny baby chicks. It was a wonderful centerpiece for Easter. They were also a lot of fun to make.
I have a possibly dumb question–bear with me…
I’ve been working on some felt ornaments, dolls and other decorative objects. Here’s the problem-it takes a tremendous amt of tedious cutting of small pieces. When I cut them out by hand, none of them are exact enough to embellish or even stitch evenly!
How do you all cut such detailed felt pieces consistently, without taking weeks of time? A cutter tool? Die cut machines?
If somebody has this great knowledge and would share it, I’d be forever grateful!

Thank you for the comment! Unfortunately we don’t have any tools that will cut the pieces more consistently. Die cutters are a nice tool but only if it’s a very high quality cutter which are rather expensive. I recommend using a stencil to trace onto the felt and trying a pair of Gingher Stork scissors which I have found are the best for precise cutting and work especially nice with felt.
