To make Purl Soho's Advent Calendar, you'll need...

•  10 small pieces of 100% wool felt in 10 colors
• An 18 x 18-inch piece of 100% wool felt for the tree. We used Wollfilz's Wool Felt Pieces, 1mm in Olive.
• An 18 x 36-inch piece of 100% wool felt for the background. We used Wollfilz's Wool Yardage, 1mm in Ecru.
• Gutermann's Cotton Sewing Thread in coordinating colors
• A skein of embroidery floss
• An embroidery needle
• A beading needle
• Sequins. We used Purl Soho's Tin of Sequins.
• Seed beads. We used Purl Soho's Tin of Seed Beads, size 12. 
• Straight pins
• An iron-on transfer pencil
• An erasable fabric marker
• Stuffing
• A dowel for hanging
