I’m a lifelong knitter and the craft of knitting has changed since I started in the 60's. There are newer and better techniques to knit garments. I especially like the top down sweater knitting or patterns that are knitted in one piece. I love Purl Soho not only for their patterns (very stylish and often simple stitches used) but their tutorials are fabulous! Their yarns are unusual and of such a high quality that it is a pleasure to knit with them. The staff is quick to respond to any question. I’m currently knitting one of their blanket kits and found I was short 2 colored balls of yarn. I was immediately sent the missing yarn. While their yarn is on the expensive side I think, “do you want to spend the hours you spend knitting with crummy yarn?”. No, I don’t.
