I have been very impressed with Purl Soho. I love your emails, your patterns and your yarn. But what I really love is that if I screw up or have a question I just email you and you respond so promptly (5 minutes is a new record for me to get a response on anything) and you are so sweet and polite even when it is a senior moment! I think you have become my favorite yarn site--and also embroidery. I have so many of the Swedish crewel embroidery kits which I love to hang in my homes and give to friends. Thank you.

Purl Soho makes the best “learn to knit” kits. I started knitting in 2018 while recovering from surgery with the scarf learn to knit kit and haven’t stopped. I have since purchased kits as gifts. Best thing ever.

Fabulous website, products and customer service! I can’t say enough glowing things about my experience with Purl Soho. I am a sewist and it appears Purl Soho is now focused on knitting. However, I found their website through a link through a simple Google search (fortuitous!), and I am in love with it. They featured several simple yet elegant sewing patterns available through free download and I now have my projects lined up for the fall. Importantly, I noticed that most of these patterns were introduced on the website from 2014-2017. Still, I can access them. There was one pattern (from 2014) that requested readers send an email to customer service to receive the free pdf. Within an hour, I received a response from Cat in Customer Service who informed me the pattern was discontinued, but she would send it to me anyway. And send she did! Thank you, Cat, from the bottom of my heart! Purl Soho brings me to a very happy place on the internet – the creativity it sparks is so exciting! I hope Purl Soho expands once again into the sewing realm – links to the recommended fabric sites are no longer available. I guess I’ll just have to learn how to knit!

Purl Soho has the best customer service I have ever encountered. First, a real human answers your questions. This is not a computer generated answer. Next, that real human offers specific solutions. I told Customer Service I was having lots of trouble accessing a pattern on my computer. When those answers didn’t work, Lili, the Customer Service specialist, asked if I would like her to mail me the pattern. Absolutely!
