From the downy winter undercoat of goats, cashmere is designed by nature to be lightweight, warm, and ridiculously soft. Cygnet's cashmere is the finest available, and add to that the insulating power of alpaca, and you get a yarn that is wonderfully light but also as toasty as can be! The alpaca we use here comes in naturally occurring shades and is what gives Cygnet its delicate palette of warm and earthy neutrals... Very special! Cygnet knits up at a fingering weight and has six tidy plies, giving it strength and smooth, even stitch definition.
