Sweater Soap

Purl Soho's Sweater Soap treats knitters' hard work with the tender care it deserves! Made in the USA from organic plant-based saponified oils, this light and lovely soap is rinse-free and especially gentle. Use it for hand- or machine-washing, and for knits, as well as your usual laundry. We even use Sweater Soap to wash our hands, and yes, our dogs, too... Wherever a gentle soap is in order! Pick from two scents: cup-of-earl-gray Bergamot and citrus-spice Coriander Seed + Pink Grapefruit. Each comes in a glass 16-ounce bottle. A list of ingredients and instructions is below.

Organic plant-based saponified oils, organic vegetable glycerin, guar gum, bergaptene-free bergamot essential oil, and rosemary extract

Coriander Seed + Pink Grapefruit Ingredients

Organic plant-based saponified oils, organic vegetable glycerin, guar gum, essential oils, and rosemary extract.

Instructions

Hand Wash: Dissolve 1 tablespoon per gallon of tepid water. Add garment and soak for 15 minutes. It's not necessary to rinse, just drain, squeeze out excess water (do not twist or wring!), then roll flat in towel. Lay garment flat to air dry. Learn more by visiting How To Hand Wash A Sweater!

Machine Wash: Fill machine with soap as usual and set to hand wash, delicate, or gentle cycle. Lay flat to air dry.
