Fiddlehead Bundle In New Colors
Your gift-knitting season is short, and winter is long… and our collection of free and super easy Fiddlehead Bundle (no longer available) accessory patterns addresses both realities! In our incredible Fiddlehead, these quick knits are the softest, coziest, blow-you-away-beautiful-est arctic attire you can imagine!

Whether you’re casting on for our Loop + Tuck Scarf, our Coziest Cowl, our Toasty Hat + Mittens, or our new Warm + Fuzzy Kerchief, all you need is our two-skein Fiddlehead Bundle and you’re good to go!

Soft and cozy Fiddlehead infuses each of these Fiddlehead Bundle (no longer available) accessories with its own brand of joy, full of a distinctive mix of charisma and personality, elegance and beauty.

Lots of highly textured yarns involve a bit of nylon, but not Fiddlehead. It is 100% natural, 100% alpaca, and 1000% incredibly soft against your skin!

It features waves of amazingly soft roving that undulate along fine central strands of alpaca. The result is a delightfully curly surface and an ethereal buoyancy, making Fiddlehead Bundles big on volume but light as air!

More… There are actually two shades of roving traveling along the central threads, sometimes quite different (like the blue and purple above, third skein down) and sometimes more subtle (like the two pinks above, top skein), but always adding tremendous depth and beauty to the color.

Each project shown here only requires one two-skein Fiddlehead Bundle (no longer available), which comes in 17 gorgeous colors (8 of them are brand new!). So, pick up a Fiddlehead Bundle or two for the knitters in your life, or cast on for some quick and beautiful gifts… Or treat yourself and make your own cozy Fiddlehead accessory!

LEARN ABOUT FIDDLEHEAD + ALL OUR BEAUTIFUL YARNS
Fiddlehead brings joy wherever it goes! Delightfully curly, it is 100% alpaca and as soft as you can imagine. One characteristic of Fiddlehead that’s hard to convey in photos is just how surprisingly light and airy it is, so although it is a super bulky-weight yarn, it practically floats off your needles! Available in lots of gorgeous colors and in 2-skein gift bundles, too, Fiddlehead is as fun as it is beautiful!

Would you please design a stuffed animal pattern for this yarn, perhaps a dog or a teddy bear? If you could come up with one that is not too difficult, that would be great. A kit might be a good idea.
Hi Stephanie,
Awwwww, I’d love to see a stuffed animal pattern in Fiddlehead as well! I’ll pass along your suggestion to our design team!
All the best,
Lili
I’m working on the Fiddlehead cowl and do not get the increase. I understand the double increase stitch, but don’t understand how to translate the asterisk part of this statement and is the 4 stitch right? seems like it will be more if you increasing 2 at each stitch marker.
“Increase Round: [Kyok (see Notes), p1, *k1, p1, repeat from * to next marker, sm] 2 times. [4 stitches increased]”
Please translate for me. I don’t get it.
Thank you for helping me.
Mary Ann Ellsworth
P.S. I’m also having trouble seeing if my stitch is a knit or purl with this yarn.
Hi Mary Ann,
Happy to help! Asterisks in a knitting pattern mean to repeat that section of the pattern multiple times. In this pattern specifically, you’ll repeat “k1, p1” over and over until you reach the next stitch marker. Then, you continue on to the next part of the instructions (which is “sm”).
And boucle yarn does make it harder to see the stitches, since it has very little stitch definition. While that make it trickier to knit with, it also hides any mistakes very well!
All the best,
Lili
I’d love a pattern for a head wrap. I have long hair and like a pattern for a headband/earcover.
Hi Lori,
That’s a great idea! While we don’t have any patterns like that yet, I’ll pass along your message to our design team for the future.
All the best,
Lili
I just want to say I love this yarn! Please make it a staple in your shop! Don’t discontinue ever!
I really appreciate that you have patterns for several different types of pieces, so I can do a nice set as a gift – matching hat, cowl, and mittens. I wish you would do this for all your yarn!!
Hi Juli,
Thank you for writing in! We love that idea! A lovely set in each yarn!
Happy knitting,
Gavriella
