I love the Hope Valley collection and together with one of the patterns from Denyse's new book, it'll make the perfect quilt for my queen bed (which so needs an update). Thanks for having such a wonderful giveaway!
I'd make a quilt, of course. Thank you for the chance to win such an amazing giveaway!
It would be hard to describe EVERYTHING I would make if I won these goodies, but I would start by making the large single star pattern from the Modern Inspirations book using the Hope Valley fabric. What an awesome prize.
Oh, this lovely book! I just got the copy today for the public library where I work. Such lovelies. I'd like to make them all. Also, I love Hope Valley. I'd love to do an old fashioned Hope Valley scrap quilt, something simple like a nine-patch. My fave from the new book, though, is that "grellow" one pictured above.
I will make next year's Christmas presents with these gifts…maybe a throw for my mom and dad, a wall hanging for my brother and sister in law..the possibilities are endless!
Gah! Head is spinning… I would love to bust out my FMF stash to make the flower chain pattern!
LOVE Denyse Schmidt's work. I want to use fabric from some of my daughter's favorite outfits and combine it with the Hope Valley fabric to create a unique, personalized quilt for my daughter to take with her to college this fall!
i would make my first quilt! i have drooled over denise's designs for too long. logic says to start with something more basic like "stacking the odds" – but i love triangles so much and the last design show in this post is stunning. wish i could be in ny for the party!
I can't tell all the things that I would do with these! Being 7 months pregnant, I would probably make a quilt for the bed of my 2 years old, just to make sure she feels special when comes her little brother. 🙂
I would love to make a quilt for our master bedroom.
i'd make the proverbial quilt and put my name on it!!!
hope i win, i love the hope valley prints
With a bundle of Denyse Schmidt fabric, I would go to town on a baby quilt or put some swatches to use on collage cards I make for friends & family.
Yay! Looking forward to this book. What I'd make with all these goodies? I think the ocean waves pattern is one of my favorites and would look great in hope valley.
I would love to make a quilt, maybe for my bedroom. They are such beautiful designs and I would have a hard time choosing something!
I had the awesome opportunity to have met Denyse at a workshop and I'm so insprired by her books, her fabrics and well, just her in general! I would love to make a quilt using both her fabrics and one of her designs 🙂
Oh, I wish I were in New York! I would love to use the fabric bundle to make a zigzag quilt for my daughter.
Wow, what a great giveaway! I would make an anniversary quilt for my bed – we are celebrating 10 years this summer! Fingers crossed I win!
If I am the lucky winner, I would first make a nice cup of tea w/honey and cuddle up with my new reading material. Then I would start dreaming about which fabrics to use for my favorite projects. I anticipate this will be a long and lovely dream filled with lots of indecision and mind changing….but I wouldn't mind that because I would be in the land of pattern and color. Thank you for such a fabulous opportunity!
Wow, I wish I could be there! What an Incredible prize. I would probably make one of the quilts from her new book, or maybe even tackle making a single girl quilt. It sounds like it will be a wonderfulmev ending, I will be there in spirit.
I never know what I am going to make until the fabric sings to me – but of late I am trying to take at least a 5" square off all fabric I buy or win and make 4 patches for my charity comfort quilts. http://4patches4hope.blogspot.com/ – then the rest is mine to play with.
I'm in Seattle, so can't make the event, but would love the fabric!
If/when I quilt, I would love to make the top orange/magenta quilt. If I'm so lucky as to when this, it'll be part of my Mother's Day gift.
Thanks for the chance to win such fabulous prizes! I would make a wedding quilt for my son and his soon-to-be wife; maybe the Flower Chain pattern for them and Points Me for me (but I love the triangles above too).
The Ocean Waves quilt is absolutely stunning. I've been admiring it since you first posted pictures of it here. I would love to make it!
A quilt, zippered pouches, cute things for my little girl. The list goes on and on!
Oh how I wish I wasn't so far away but alas I'll have to settle for hoping to win the giveaway. I just adore these lines and can't wait to have the book. Thanks for thinking of all us that can't be there in person.
My boys are going to be sharing a room in a few weeks…would love to make them quilts from the new book!
I'm not sure what I'd make, but I'd definitely be rolling around on the fabric! I love that collection! And I'm itching to get a peak at the book – all of the quilts on DS's facebook page looked beautiful!
Thanks for the chance to win. 🙂

Thanks for the chance to win, I'd make a quilt.
I wish I could make it to the party! I love Denyse's work and would be thrilled to meet her. I'm gearing up to make my son's first "Big Boy" quilt in honor of his moving from his crib to his bed, and I love that the colors in Hope Valley include some more masculine options!
I'm dying to be there with you to celebrate this fantastic book and author. With those lovely fabric goodies, I would love to make a quilt, of course! Thanks so much for letting all of us out in the online world be a part of the fun!
I would make a beautiful quilt for my mother using the fabrics and one of her patterns. So inspiring!
I will be sitting up at night when all is quiet and working on my first quilt, although I do alot of sewing 'the quilt' has always been on the 'to do' list. To show my novice status I do so like the hot crossed bun pattern pictured on the single beds. Ohhh be mine! When done you will find me snuggling under it with a hot chocolate and a good book 'wink wink'.
I wish I could be there, but I'd love to win! Denyse's new book looks incredible and I love her fabrics. I can't say for sure now what I'd make, but I'm sure I'd figure it out very quickly! 🙂
I love Denyse Schmidt and I would love to make a new throw with one of her designs and the Hope Valley fabric! Thank you for a great giveaway!
As a beginning quilter launching a life-long interest, I would make a doll quilt for my 3 year old cousin, and then tackle a human size for myself! The fresh, modern designs are right up my alley!
Thank you so much for this chance. I would make tote bags and then give them to the girls in my life.
Those are some gorgeous fabrics! I think I'd make either a small quilt to use as a throw or a table runner, and some project bags for my knitting. I also have a design for a knit linen purse in development – some of that fabric might make the perfect lining for it.
O! Definitely a quilt for my bed! So pretty!
I would make a wallhanging!
I'd love to win this book, I keep seeing it on line, but it hasn't reached my part of the world yet!! If I won, I would make a quilt for my bed.
I've been wanting to make Denyse's Cog and Wheel quilt pattern, so this would probably finally motivate me to do it! Thanks for the incredible giveaway!
Oh, my! Thanks for the opportunity to win such a wonderful prize! If I won, I'd make a quilt for my daughter and son-in-law. I started making wedding quilts for my children after my daughter got married and have made quilts for the two children following her Now it's time to go back and make a quilt for my dear daughter and her husband.
The book is beautiful! I would make the single star quilt!
Ooh, I think a quilt for my brand new godson.
I'm planning a bunch of gift quilts for Christmas. This prize would definitely be handy!
i LOVE denyse schmidt quilt patterns! i'm a young quilter but i've already made 4 quilts…all of them are DS patterns!! she is my fave! wish i didn't live on the opposite side of the states to both the Purl Soho and her Conneticut workshop.
I would make one of her new quilts…the first 2 quilts I made were 2 of hers and I would love to try another!
Seeing these unusual quilts has re-energized my desire to sew! I love the circles and asymmetric variations!
Oh! These are so beautiful! I don't even know where I'd start, but I think I'd make a quilt for my bed!
I would make something for my girls!
I would learn how to do a beautiful quilt, and using a Denyse pattern, i would make an amazing quilt for the bed for my baby that cames on her/his way 🙂
Have a beautiful day.
Kisses
I would definitely make a quilt….for me! haha I haven't done one for myself ever yet! Thanks for the chance to win!
Your party sounds fabulous… wish I could click my heels and be there for it! If I were to win, the fabric would be made into a quilt for a friend that is celebrating a milestone birthday this summer.
A cozy quilt with wool batting for my wall tent is what I would make…
i'd make a quilt for my niece who is getting married-love her fabric. thanks for the chance to win some awesome googies.
I would make a quilt! I made a lovely quilt from her picnic line. Love it!
annemarierallen(at)gmail(dot)com
OH, what a wonderful giveaway. I would love to make the "hills n hollers" quilt as I'm a hiker and I love that design. Thanks for holding this contest.
I love that red and orange orange peel variation quilt pictured in this post. If I were to win the giveaway, I'd make a summer quilt for my bed. It has been a while since I made a quilt for myself, and I'd love a new look for my bed.
Love them all, but I think I'd start with the triangle (flying geese?). Love the black and white with a touch of color.
I would like to make several doll quilts for my Granddaughters for Christmas. Thanks for the giveaway.
Honestly, unless one of the fabrics is good for a bow tie, I wouldn't be making a darn thing with it–I would pass the prize along to my mom, who has had a rough couple of years trying to put her health back together, but continues to make the most beautiful wedding/baby/graduation/you-name-it quilts for family and friends alike (she's a giver!).
I'm currently working on a quilt for me and my mister – a quilt for my 3-year old niece is next! I want to create something that is fun and modern and that she'll be able to use for many, many years – the bright colors of the Hope Valley fabrics would be a great match for her!
I think these fabrics would be perfect for Little Dresses for Africa. I collect fabric where ever I can and make little dresses for charity. These prints would put a smile on the face of a little girl who needs a new dress.
Denyse was in my local city a couple of weeks ago, and I didn't know until afterward – so frustrating!! I would make a quilt made primarily of lengthwise, broad stripes, with a little razzle-dazzle — an eight-pointed star, perhaps? randomly placed on two or three of those strips.
Oh! I would make a Hot Cross Bun Quilt and donate it as an auction item for the Pan Mass Challenge; a three day bike fundraiser across Massachusetts to raise money for the Jimmy Fund/Dana Farber cancer research. Thanks so much for this chance.
What would I do with all of that? I would quilt until I collapsed.
I would make a quilt for my daughter
What an exciting event! Wish I lived closer so I could attend. I would make a wallhanging for my family room!
I'm just getting into quilting and I'm loving all of the modern designs I find. I'm so excited to keep trying new techniques and I love the look of Denyse's patterns. There's so many great patterns to choose from, I don't know which one I'd try first! I wish I could make it to the event.
I can't make it to NYC, but I would love to make that orange peel quilt – totally obsessed with that design right now and I love how she did it on such a huge scale.
I would use these gorgeous fabrics to make a throw for my sofa, so that I could enjoy them every day.
I've received a brand new sewing machine last month. I've been looking for the right quilt pattern to make my wedding quilt: I want to make a quilt that will look fabulous on our wedding bed, and that we'll keep for a long time, remembering our wedding each time we see it! And I think Denyse's patterns are just what I'm looking for…
So lovely! I, too, would make a new quilt… one to share with Honey (he loves quilts).
If I win I will make it a date with my quilter mom and our sewing machines!
XOXOX
If I won, I would make a warm quilt for my family using the fabric and a pattern from the book. Thanks for the chance to win.
I wish I could make it to the party! I'd make a quilt to use in the park this spring/summer.
I love the pattern of the turquoise quilt featured in the back of the third photo – I'd make a quilt like that!
I just finished Denyse's Cog and Wheel quilt, made in Hope Valley and hand quilted (queen size!). It took me a year and a half – although I worked on it very sporadically. It is definitely my favorite quilt I've ever made and I love the Hope Valley fabrics so much. I would definitely love to make another quilt from those fabrics, and I have my eye on the Proverbial quilt.
Denyse Schmidt and Natalie Chanin are the two women who were instrumental in reminding me of my inherent need to create. And be still my soul – that red and orange quilt in the first picture. the colors are perfect and the pattern reminds of a large scale cathedral window quilt. That would be the one I would make.
I love these quilts. They are so fresh and bold. I went to the website and fell in love with the "Point Me" quilt pattern. If I win, I'll make the quilt with the bold X's. I love it.
if I won this giveaway I would make my very first quilt block! (and hopefully eventually a whole quilt!) I am learning to sew and really want to learn quilting too! thanks for the chance to win!
I would quilt my little heart out with that lovely fabric! A throw for the guest room and a baby quilt for sure!
How beautiful! I've been wanting to make a quilt for our bed that the hubs would enjoy!
I would have to make a baby quilt for a dear friend who is due at the end of the summer. Even as I type my mind is dreaming of the colors and patterns, and my fingers are itching to get their hands on the lovely fabrics!
What a wonderful opportunity! We have just purchased our first home… so I would make a beautiful quilt for our bed which would help provide the inspiration and decor for our new bedroom!
I don't know WHAT I'd make, but I know it would be for my lovely mother who taught me to quilt 🙂
Love! I typically make traditional quilts but I'm dying to make one of these!
I'd love to win! I've just finished my first quilt ever, and would use the stuff to start my next one!
I'm drawn to the strong geometric shapes on the quilts so I'd proably sew the up the X&O quilt on the bed, although the quilt hanging over the doorway with the leaflike motif is gorgeous too.
Those colors are amazing. I could certainly see myself making bags or redecorating my craft room with projects using those fabrics!
Thanks for this giveaway! I'd start with the beautiful quilt at the top of this post – I love the color choices DS made there, it's so simple and stand-out!
This is a delightful giveaway, thanks! I'm still partial to the single girl quilt, so I'd make that stratightaway!
I'd love to make anything from that quilting book! Especially love the pink and orange one. Our guest bed needs a serious update.
A Single Girl quilt has been on my to-do list for a long time, and would look amazing in Hope Valley! I would also realy like to try an improv quilt in the near future.
Thanks for the great giveaway!
So much lovely inspiration, I've admired her work for so long. Oh my, I would love to win!
Love to make a quilt!
Thank you so much for hosting this giveaway! I wish I could make it to the actual party! I would use the fabric to make a quilt – I particularly love the top quilt in this post (in shades of red). I'm looking forward to getting this book!
I would make a quilt for my baby girl!
First I would peruse all of the beautiful quilts in the book and then somehow decide which one I would make for my bed! I would love to win!
I'd love to make a modern crosses quilt with all that lovely fabric!
We just bought our daughter her big girl bed, and I need to make her a twin size quilt to go on it. These patterns are wonderful!
I would love to make an improvisational patchwork quilt.
I'd made a beautiful quilt — probably for myself, but maybe for someone else. It depends. 😉 Thank you!
I would love to make that triangles/ocean waves quilt! but in many colors not just black and white.
My mom gave me a singer sewing machine this year for my 15th birthday. She figured I needed it since I've been sewing since I was little. I love to sew! I've made tons of bags, dresses, hankies, just about everything…except a quilt! I'd make my first one if I won the contest. It would look so pretty on my old-fashioned wrought iron bed!
I love the combination of striking design with intricately detailed stitching on these. I'd probably make a couple of baby quilts for all the new little ones in my family and friends' lives, experimenting with different designs and working on my hand quilting technique (which needs all the help it can get!)
If I won I'd make a quilt for my sister. She's getting married this fall and I've been wanting to make a quilt for her. Thank you for the opportunity to win some lovely things! I wish I could be there in person.
I'd make quilts quilts and more quilts of course. Right now that red and orange quilt is just calling to me.
I have a wall in the nook area with a quilt hanging…time for a change!…need to make a new one with summery colors!
thanks for the contest
I'd love to try out one of her quilt patterns. A new quilt for my bed would just be wonderful!
I am a huge fan of denyse schmidt quilts! We have one of her quilts hanging on the wall of our bedroom as I do see them as works of art! She combines the simplicity of graphic shapes and lines with elegant colors. She really did redefine quilting and I am sorry to not be able to make the event but wanted to comment. If I were to win this prize I would make two twin quilts that I can put on my kids' bunk beds.
I love the fabrics and her patterns. This would help me continue my journey to become more bold and adventurous with color and pattern. Thanks for the generous gifts!
What a generous gift! Of course I would trade all the fabric in the world for a chance to hear Denyse speak, but since I don't have a genie/magic lamp handy, then with that gorgeous pile of fabric I might attempt my biggest quilt project ever…. the KING SIZED quilt to cover my master bedroom bed. Whew. I got a little nervous just typing that sentence! I think I'm ready, this fabric would just seal the deal!
I love the featured qulit with all the triangles – that's the one I'd make! Thank you for the chance to win!
First I'd learn to sew. Then I'd make a quilt that any graphic designer would die for!
oh how i wish i could come tonight!! a few hours of highway are standing between us, sadly… but if i won, I'd get to work on a quilt for each of my kiddos' beds, and with energy to spare, something colorful for our grownups' room too : ) she's an inspiration!
I would try making my first quilt 🙂
I'm pretty addicted to log cabin, so those courthouse step have my name on them… But I also really love that single girl ring pattern…. And a green, pink and orange palate would be just the ticket.
I have been trying to add textiles around my house to liven up the walls. My husband is a photographer, so we have lots of photos. I've been knitting and framing fabrics in embroidery hoops. I would love to add a small quilt for additional texture. I come from a family f quilters, but I have yet to try my hand. I'd love to have the book as a guide!!
Yummy! I would love to make a quilt for our family room sofa. What better way to snuggle up on a cold day!
What a lovely giveaway – just wish I was closer to join in the fun on the day!
I think i'd make a runner or tablemats for our new kitchen – it needs a pop of colour!!
I am in Canada, so cannot make this event, but I would love to win this prize. If I did, i would make a quilt for my best beloved.
I'd make a quilt for my little gal's top bunk. And one for us. And one for my littler gal's crib. And…
With 3 good friends getting married later this year, I can't think of better gifts than lovely handmade quilts! I love the traditional inspiration behind Denyse's patterns but the modern spin makes them relevant.
Thanks for offering a great giveaway for your readers!
Wow would I ever love to win this. I'm gona cross my fingers and hope. 🙂
From old country (France), your craft blog seems very "modern" and the images of Denyse Schmidt quilts are fascinating : the colours are bright but with some peaceful feeling… And we need this sort of "philosophy" in hancrafts.
So I read every two or three days the projects on "the purl bee" and I have intended to make one or two.
Have a good Thursday.
My first project would be stacking the odds
Hmmm. That's the $50,000 question! It is a very generous giveaway and if I won, in it's honor I think I would pair the fabric with some coordinating solids to make one of Denyse's quilts from the new book in a tribute to all of her incredible achievements! She is one talented lady.
I love these quilts, their fabrics and colors! Great inspiration for making a(nother) quilt!
I love everything there is about Denise Schmidt. I wish I could be there to enjoy the party with all of you, I hope it goes well for her. If I have even a tiny chance to win some of her stuff than I am in.
I would make a quilt! I recently bought a sewing machine and my mom is teaching me how to sew. I loved the process of my first project – from going to the quilt store and having someone help me pick out fabric (for a bag – my first project!), to cutting it, to trying to understand a pattern and to the finished project. I would love to have a beautiful quilt to take pride in.
Absolutely, I'd make one of those stunning quilts. What a fabulous giveaway. Thanks for the opportunity for those of us not able to join you in NYC.
I'd make my first quilt! I've been wanting to for a while, but I don't have any patterns, and my friend who quilts moved away. I get to have a vacation at her house this summer, so these supplies would be perfect for the two of us to work together!
These are beautiful! I would make a quilt for the baby I am expecting this summer!
What a wonderful prize! My husband just turned 50 so I'd be using the fabrics and the patterns to make him a special quilt. 🙂
I'm just a beginner so I think I'd stick to making a quilt.
satsukirebel AT gmail DOT com
I have never made a quilt but would love to, probably for me or grandchildren, thank you for the opportunity.
I have some very special quilt blocks that my mother made for me. I would love to use these blocks and this gorgeous fabric to make a quilt for my 60th birthday. Even though my mother is gone I know it would please her to see the beauty of her work meshed with the beauty of this gorgeous fabric!
Oh I wish I could be at the party! I used the flock of triangles pattern from her first book for my daughter's crib quilt and I'd love to make the saw tooth bar quilt in this new book, scaled down to another crib size, for baby #2.
I would love to make the proverbial quilt pattern for our bed by our 10th anniversary….I am giving myself a year and a half to finish it 😉
What beautiful fabrics! If I were lucky enough to win the Hope Valley fabrics I would make a spectacular quilt for my bed. And while I typically quilt "in the ditch" I would pull out all the stops and attempt free-motion quilting (yikes!) to bring out the best in these amazing fabric patterns and colours!
Hmmm, I think I would start with a quilt for my oldest son and then maybe one for my husband and I. I just finished my first quilt (learning from my mom, an expert quilter!) and am really enjoying this new craft! This would definitely give me a huge jump start for quilt #2 and beyond!!
I'd use the fabric to make a Stacking the Odds quilt for my son.
Lovely! I've been thinking about quilts so much lately. I would make a miniature version of the final quilt photo you posted for my daughter. Will be my first quilt!
I love Denyse's books! This one is really inspiring me to attempt my first quilt. I love her fabrics so much! Seattle is so far away from her shop, this book would bring her closer to me.
I love the Log Cabin-inspired cover of the book-I would attempt some Log Cabin blocks or use the fabrics to make a Sunshine and Shadow–
Hope Valley, i feel, lends itself to something with an oldy worldy charm…i am sure one of Denyse's patterns along with the Hoep Valley line would manage this beautifully. Of course this would be king size and kept just for me.
Thank you for the giveaway. What a wonderful evening you will all have…envious!
Well, it would be pretty hard to cut into that beautiful fabric!!! But, I think I'd like to try one of the quilts in the book.
Beautiful!
Genevieve
My first quilt was a present for my niece. My brother loved it so much that I think their wedding present has to be their own quilt. I'd love to make the large sawtooth star string quilt. I love the mix of the uneven strips and the stricter star design. My brother and sister-in-law would love the bright colours and bold design. Of course I need to build up some scraps first. I'd like to work with some half square triangles so the ocean waves quilt appeals to me. Perhaps I could keep one quilt for myself!
What a great prize! I would want to make pillows, pillows, pillows! maybe a quilt for the back of the couch . Endless number of ideas come to mind . Thanks for the chance to win.
I am a big fan of Denyse's patterns. I would love to make A point me pattern quilt for my bed.
Every time I look at your website I wish that I lived close enough to visit your shop. So many beautiful things!
I would make quilts for my two little girls! One would surely have lots of yellow in it, as that's what my 3-year-old is obsessed with currently. She has me knitting all kinds of yellow sweaters!
If I win, I would love to make my first quilt for my babygirl Ella. I love to knit and sew and since we live in an old farmhouse and so I think it's about time I get started on my first quilt to fit her bedroom.
Beautiful quilts! I would love to win this. Thank you for such a fabulous giveaway.
I would make a new quilt for our bed … and another then one for the spare bed … and then probably one for the couch in the living room. Desyse's designs are always so fresh and appealing; it would be hard to settle on just one.
The book looks awesome! I am totally into making quilts right now and would love to make one for my daughter's room! Thanks so much!
Since I have been selecting projects to complete in Denyse's first book, I would continue along my journey with this one that I've been anxiously waiting for! And to make things with her fabric collections is such fun, too!! It seems an oxymoron for things to be vintage modern and yet, Denyse epitomizes exactly that!
I just finished my first quilt… and I would love to step up to something a little more sophisticated for my second quilt! I do admire what I've seen of Denyse Schmidt's designs.
I am a beginner quilter and have been admiring Denyse's patterns…the Quilts and the book are just gorgeous! I hope to be able to make one of these some day soon!!
Just drooling here over how lovely these are… I'd start with some pillows for quick gratification and move on to wall hangings and quilts. Love!
As a new quilter, I'd love to get my hands on more fabric for more new projects!
Quilts! I would make quilts!! Maybe something with repeating triangles… maybe point me with grey instead of white? Oh that would be lovely. Yes, that. I would make that.
Oh how I love Denyse Schmidt's work! I would make a quilt for my daughter to adorn the big-girl-bed she's soon to get.
I'd make a quilt for my son's bedroom. I think he'd love it!
A quilt for my mum!
Oh how I wish I could come to the store but finances prevent a last-minute hop across the pond (!) so I must be satisfied with entering your lovely competition instead. I would make my daughter a summer dress with the fabric and I would take inspiration from the books to make a quilt for our sitting room.
ooh..I love Denise's designs – I hope I win!
I would ask my mother-in-law to work with me to make quilts for each of her granddaughters!
Ooo I'd make quilts for everyone!! Starting with one for my young cousin's upcoming wedding. Thanks so much for the opportunity to enter and for sharing this book 🙂
I would make my first quilt!! I'm due to give birth to my little son in 7 weeks, so hopefully I would get it finished on time! Thank you for the possibility to win these great prices!
Hard to decide… all beautiful, but definitely one of them… all decides how the fabrics "feel," what they call out to become…..
Ummmm- A Quilt of Course! or maybe a couple little dresses for some bears or animals. Her patterns and fabrics are always my favorite.
Beautiful! fabrics. (I'm still hoarding the original flea market fancy. ) I'd make a quilt.
I would make a big-girl quilt for my nearly 11-year-old! Thanks.
These are beautiful, truthfully I don't know where I would start! I know my sister and I could turn this into quality sister bonding time with all these wonderful designs! My first choice though would be to make a quilt for my grandmother 🙂
I love the Hope Valley Collection! I think a granny square quilt would look just fabulous with those fabrics. I also love that orange/red curved pieced quilt. I am definitely putting that on my to-do list.
Many of my friends have recently had babies or are expecting. I would make baby quilts to share. This also suits my beginning quilting skills. Wish I still lived in NYC and could attend the event.
I would totally make a mini quilt/wall hanging. Or two.

I want to make the "Ocean Waves" quilt right now! DS quilts are always as stunning and inspirational as her fabric is beautiful. Love it all.
Oh what a lovely giveaway! I've been lusting after this book since it was announced! If I won I would finally make a quilt for myself 🙂 And share the winnings with my guild friends!
I would make a beautiful quilt for my baby boy's upcoming first birthday.
Wow! So sorry I cannot make Denyse's actual presentation today but if I won the giveaway I would definitely make make a pair of quilts for my eight-year old's room as we are going to exchange her double bed for two twin beds. There are many beautiful patterns in this new book!
I love the proverbial quilt pattern and would love to make that. Actually, I love all the patterns and would be happy with any of them.
Wish I could be there!
I love the fresh, modern approach. If I was lucky enough to win this great prize, I'd make a quilt for our guest room. At the moment, it's lacking warmth, personality, and color. It would be a nice surprise for our visiting family and friends.
All of you at Purl Soho – enjoy the event, I am sure it'll be a huge success. I am staging our house, hoping for a swift sale. What better eye-candy than a Denyse Schmidt modern quilt on the sofa?! I'd get down on sewing that quilt right away, yes siree…!!
I would use this to make a lap quilt for my mom. I want to make her one for Christmas so this would be an AWESOME prize!

I would love to create a beautiful classy quilt for my bed and gifts for the holidays.
What would I make? Quilts of course! I would love to make "hills -n- hollers" in a yellow and gray colorway.
I wish I could be there for this. I would love to make some quilts for my 2 little boys.
