Is Purl Soho closed? Definitely not! Our online shop is wide open and full of ideas and inspiration, with over 40 Purl Soho yarn collections for sale in hundreds and hundreds of colors. You’ll also find thousands of free patterns, exceptional tools and notions, and an enormous archive of tutorials to answer your questions as soon as you have them! 

While our online shop is open and invested in your creative pursuits 24 hours a day, we did make the decision in 2023 to permanently close our New York City storefront. For over 20 years, our shop was a much-loved destination for both longtime customers and one-time visitors, and we loved making friends with you. As we foster a vibrant online community, we are constantly finding new ways to maintain those friendships and to build many more. Please rest assured that Purl Soho is here for you as always, giving in-depth help and striving every day to support and inspire you to make beautiful things.
