• What may look complex is really all the work of Novella's long lengths of color. The knitting is actually super simple: First you cast on and work in garter stitch for a couple inches, then you work the next section perpendicular to the first, joining as you go (not a lick of sewing!). Very cool and also very easy!
• Over many stitches, Novella's repeats of specially dyed color spread out into delicate, thin stripes, and when you're working over fewer stitches, the stripes are deeper, piling up like layers of a sunset (and just as captivating!).
• Plus, it all feels absolutely wonderful in Novella's extraordinarily soft and supple mix of extra fine merino and mulberry silk!
