About This Yarn

• A plush single ply of 100% superwash merino wool, Pepper has a luminous glow and an incredible softness that makes it soft, cozy, and ideal for baby knits and next-to-skin wear.
• Knitting up at a sport to light worsted/DK weight, with surprising pops of color to charm you all along the way, Pepper is not too thick and not too thin. For speedier knits, it's especially fun to hold two strands together to double the color play!
• Yes, "superwash" means it’s machine washable, too! The superwash fleeces come from a carbon-neutral mill in Uruguay that puts their flock's welfare and workers' safety first. A wonderful mill in Peru spins these fleeces into a smooth single-ply yarn and then hand-dyes a sprinkle of lively colors onto the yarn’s warm white base.
• The whimsical palette is made by hand-dyeing 3 or 4 cheery colors onto a warm white base, creating dappled colorways from pop art-inspired Comic Book to the buttery yellows of Spring Daffodil!
