Jumbo Andean Handspun

Jumbo Andean Handspun

Our Jumbo Andean Handspun makes a very big statement! A ginormous mix of baby alpaca and merino wool, Jumbo Andean Handspun is created in the Andes mountains of Peru. An organization of indigenous women who learned their craft from the women before them, who learned their craft from the women before them, hand spins each skein, keeping valuable traditions alive… with remarkable modernity. It also happens to be incredibly beautiful yarn, as sculptural as rope and as soft as anything. Although we no longer sell Jumbo Andean Handspun, we do have lots of great substitutes that are available and in stock. Check out our yarns with similar gauge and fiber!
