Every element of this set—stainless steel needle tips, flexible swivel cords, and thoughtful accessories—is stored inside a little 4 x 6.25-inch case, small enough to easily fit into your project bag or even your pocket! The case closes with a magnetic snap and is made from an undyed, untreated leather that is incredibly soft and supple in your hands. It starts out as a lovely buff color that will naturally darken as it ages through years of happy knitting.

• 10 pairs of 5-inch Needle Tips, from US 1.5 to US 10 (2.75 mm to 6 mm), made of lightweight, super smooth stainless steel. The pointed tips give you the precision you need for techniques like decreases and increases, working through the back loop, and lace knitting.
• 4 nylon-coated Needle Cords in the following lengths: Red, 14 inches; Yellow, 22 inches; Blue, 30 inches; and Aqua, 37 inches. With the 5-inch needle tips, you get 24-, 32-, 40-, and 47-inch circular needles. The cord attaches to the needle tip with a perfectly smooth swivel joint that allows the cord to move freely without twisting up or getting in your way.

How To Attach + Remove Needle Tips

Insert the base of the needle tip into the silver joint at the end of the cord and just spin the tip to hand-tighten. Insert a key into the small hole in the silver joint to hold the joint stable as you screw the tip on securely. Use the little piece of leather to get a better grip on smaller size needles.

To remove the tip, just do the same thing in reverse. Hold the needle tip with the grip helper (if necessary), then insert the key into the hole in the joint to stabilize the joint as you unscrew the tip. Super easy!

How To Use Cords As Stitch Holders

The stoppers screw onto the cords just like the needle tips do, and they essentially turn your cords into stitch holders. Instead of slipping your stitches onto stitch holders (only to have to slip them back onto needles later), you simply replace your needle tips with stoppers, then put those needle tips onto a different cord and get back to work. So satisfying!
