Designed by Julie Hoover, Cohle is a cozy, oversized turtleneck filled with Julie's thoughtful construction details and clever knitting techniques. Worked bottom up, with the back and front pieces knit flat and the sleeves and collar knit in the round, this pattern also includes delicate stripes for either a nod to classic tailoring or a splash of fun, depending on your color choices! Julie designed her sweater in our super popular Good Wool. One hundred percent Andean highland wool, this yarn comes in natural undyed shades, as well as a beautiful rainbow of heathered hues, offering a wide variety of choices for knitters to create their own Cohle. Note that this is an update to Julie's original Cohle pattern, now in Good Wool and more sizes!

MATERIALS

Purl Soho’s Good Wool, 100% Andean highland wool. Each skein is approximately 383 yards/ 100 grams.

Main Color (MC): 4 (4, 4, 5, 5, 6, 5, 6, 6) skeins; approximately 1203 (1293, 1448, 1596, 1764, 1974, 1842, 2012, 2184) yards required. Julie used the color Winter Grass.
Contrast Color (CC): 1 (1, 1, 1, 1, 1, 2, 2, 2) skein(s); approximately 1281 (304, 324, 346, 366, 386, 451, 470, 492) yards required. Julie used the color Hickory Nut.
