Designed by Julie Hoover, the Hart cardigan features an elegant lace panel down the spine and an elegant shawl collar with a beautiful drape. Worked bottom up and flat in pieces, this lovely sweater is carefully shaped for a timeless fit. Julie designed Hart in Purl Soho’s Linen Quill, a combination of wool, alpaca, and linen. Linen Quill comes in over 50 gorgeous colors and has a slightly rustic texture with a lovely touch, seen and felt throughout the Hart cardigan! Note that this is an update to Julie's original Hart pattern, now in Linen Quill and more sizes!
Product Details
MATERIALS
- 4 (4, 4, 5, 5, 6, 6, 7, 7) skeins of Purl Soho’s Linen Quill, 50% fine highland wool, 35% alpaca, and 15% linen. Each skein is 439 yards/ 100 grams; approximately 1440 (1585, 1755, 1945, 2130, 2310, 2515, 2690, 2930) yards required. Julie used the color Rose Granite.

- Stitch markers
- Stitch holders or scrap yarn
- Blocking wires + T-pins (optional but recommended)
