A unique and wonderful blend of 70% undyed white cashmere and 30% natural-color baby alpaca, Cygnet’s five straight-from-nature shades span a range of soft gray-browns, like a bevy of baby swans!
About This Yarn
- From the downy winter undercoat of goats, cashmere is designed by nature to be lightweight, warm, and ridiculously soft. The cashmere in Cygnet is some of the finest in the world, with an over-the-top softness you will feel in every stitch!
- The baby alpaca is nearly as soft, and we use a range of naturally occurring shades to give Cygnet its delicate palette of warm and earthy neutrals. It's wonderful as you knit to think about the color coming from the alpaca themselves!
- This fingering-weight yarn has six tidy plies, giving it strength and a very smooth, even stitch definition.
- You will love the warmth, the softness, and the drape, but most of all, you will love the natural beauty! Give it a try with one of our free knitting patterns in Cygnet... You will be amazed at the pleasure you feel!
