Fish-Eye Corozo Button, 1/2 inch
These wonderfully useful buttons are made of pure corozo nut, the smooth, hard seed of the Tagua palm. An important resource for the local economy of rainforest communities in Ecuador, Tagua palms grow naturally in the wild and are a valuable alternative to the kind of farming that causes deforestation. These cute little buttons feature a small indent on the front face, known in the button business as a "fish-eye" detail. They look perfectly sweet on cardigans, shirts, and whatever other project that needs a pretty fastener! Each 1/2-inch button is sold separately.
