Designed by Jared Flood for his first print book, Woolens, the Seeds hat was conceived as the gentlest possible introduction to stranded colorwork. Knit in three colors of buoyant Loft or Peerie, only six pattern rounds (eight if you choose the largest size) require the use of two colors, and these rounds alternate colors on every stitch to take the guesswork out of tensioning. Brooklyn Tweed considers this pattern a level 2 out of 5 in difficulty and offers it as a hard copy only. For more information about materials, gauge, and size, click Product Details, above.
