Description

Designed by Véronik Avery for Brooklyn Tweed, Lowra features set-in sleeves and either a belt or I-cord tie closure. A polished cardigan, it is knit in Brooklyn Tweed’s Arbor in crisp stockinette stitch. Lowra is worked from the bottom up in pieces that you sew together. MATERIALS
  • 10 (11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16) skeins of Brooklyn Tweed’s Arbor, shown in colors Vintner and Carob, or 1440 (1540, 1680, 1800, 1940, 2100, 2220) total yards of DK weight wool yarn

  • US 6 (4 mm), 32-inch circular needles or straight needles, or size needed to obtain gauge

  • US 4 (3.5 mm), 16-inch and 32-inch circular needles or straight needles, or two sizes smaller than gauge needles, for ribbing 

  • A set of US 4 double pointed needles, or same size as ribbing needles

  • US 2 (2.75 mm), 32-inch circular needles, or two sizes smaller than ribbing needles, for optional tubular cast on only

 

GAUGE

21 stitches and 32 rows = 4 inches in stockinette stitch with gauge needles, after blocking
