Our Dyed To Match Buttons are carved from the corozo nut, the smooth, hard seed of the Tagua palm. An important resource for the local economy of rainforest communities in Ecuador, Tagua palms grow naturally in the wild and are a valuable alternative to the kind of farming that causes deforestation. Originally, our Dyed To Match Buttons were custom hand-dyed to coordinate with our palette of Worsted Twist colors. While they are still a perfect match for sweaters knit with Peony Pink or Ash Gray, we no longer carry the corresponding yarns for the remaining button colors. But beautiful in their own right, these buttons are a lovely way to finish any cardigan or sewing project! Price is per button, and each button measures 1 inch across and has two holes.
