Materials

Ripples Scarf | Purl Soho
  • 4 skeins of Purl Soho’s Season Alpaca, 100% baby alpaca. Each skein is approximately 218 yards/ 100 grams; approximately 850 yards required. We used the color Trout Brown.
  • US F (4.0 mm) crochet hook

Gauge

  • Unblocked: 20 double crochets = 4 inches
  • Blocked: 19 double crochets = 4 inches

Size

Finished dimensions: 11½ inches wide x 72 inches long

Pattern

Make a Foundation Single Crochet Row of 342 crochets.

Set-Up Row: Chain (ch) 3 (counts as 1 double crochet), 1 double crochet (dc) into each single crochet (sc) to end of row. [343 dc total, including ch 3 at beginning]

Row 1: Ch 3 (counts as 1 double crochet), 1 dc into top of each dc to end of row. [343 dc total, including ch 3 at beginning]

Repeat Row 1 until piece measures 12 inches from foundation edge.

Next Row: 1 sc into top of each dc to end of row.

Cut yarn and pull tail through final sc.

Weave in ends and block as desired.
