Let it ripple. That’s the idea behind kindness, prosperity, happiness, and so many other life enhancing concepts, including this lovely Ripples Scarf. Like spreading goodness, this scarf is basic at its core with results that are anything but.

Simple rows of double crochets create this wonderfully furrowed piece. And in Season Alpaca‘s Trout Brown, a moody blue with warm undertones, the effect is like ripples across a pond’s broken surface… Beautiful!

There’s a rhythm inherent in crocheting the Ripples Scarf that comes out in the stitches themselves. As your hook moves in and out of the stitches, dipping and pulling, it creates notes, and bars and lines of music. Get into the rhythm and let it ripple!
