Best Projects of 2015!
This past year was hands down Purl Soho’s most creative ever! It brought the launch of our lovely Linen Grid fabric, the introduction of two classic yarn collections (Gentle Giant and Lanecardate Feltro), plus five new beginner kits. We also completely renovated our website this year, uniting Purl Soho and the Purl Bee in one inspiring and easy-to-get-to place.
But most importantly, we crafted our hearts out this year! We shared over one hundred original projects and patterns over the course of 2015. From our humongous blanket in Little Dandelion to our tiny Knit Layette in Line Weight, here are some of our very favorites. Let us know yours!

Thank you so much for your question! Sorry about the delayed response. The 4ply cashmere that we used for this project was specially dyed for us by Jade Sapphire to achieve the perfect ombre, so, unfortunately we don’t have a non-wool yarn that would work as a subsititute. We do carry Cascade’s Ultra Pima cotton (https://www.purlsoho.com/yarn/knitting-crochet/ultra-pima.html) that would get you close to the same gauge, but it might be difficult to get the same ombre look. I am very sorry we can’t be of more help! Again, thank you for writing in!

Made your Jasmine scarf this summer. Love it but it’s been too warm,so far here in north eastern USA, to actually wear it! Not complaining….. Alway check your patterns for knitting, so beautiful!

It hard to choose just one they are all beautiful
I have done several of the projects shown, but my favorite was the ‘ancient stitch’ scarf…. there was something special about the history of the stitch for a passionate knitter…. love everything you post.
Just have to tell you how much I love everything about your site and designs, and of course your store! I’m so blessed to live in NY, and can shop there anytime.
Unfortunately, I can only afford to go a couple of times a year! Still there’s so much to look forward to in saving up for a Purl project! This is the prettiest store in NY, and the fabrics, the yarns, the books and of course the projects are so outstanding.. I could just live there full time!
