I love that there is so much interest in this book. Natalie is preserving, reviving and creating an appreciation for hand sewing techniques. Her designs are stunning.
This book looks wonderful.
I’ve been hoarding cast-off t-shirts for such an opportunity. Love her style. So inspiring. And hooray for Slow Craft!
I have all of her other books. They are great.
Incredible! This will be my next project, can’t wait.
Wow – so beautiful and inspiring, makes you want to sew, sew, sew!
I used to make hand embroidered and hand smocked dresses for my daughter. One day she decided she was too old for such things. So I have turned to making hand made clothes for myself. I have spent many hours poring over Alabama Chanin’s previous books. So very happy there is a new one!
Beautiful!! I haven’t sewn in a while…or done hand finishing. Just the cover makes me want to get the fabric and get working on the amazing top;)
Her other books are beautiful. Can’t wait to see this one!
I sew, I love to sew by machine, but I can’t bring my sewing machine into the den and sit on the couch with my husband and sew and watch TV. I always feel like I am wasting time “just” watching TV. I have never done hand sewing, but this book looks like the best opportunity to learn, and do it right! I would love to read this book and learn by an obvious professional.
Good luck to all everyone who enters this contest.
Love her style. So beautiful and current but vintage.
I love the texture of a design and this is at the top of the pile! Awesome, thanks for sharing…..
I can’t wait to customize the patterns to accommodate a real size bust.

The book looks amazing, her style is so elegant yet simple and charming!
As a novice in sewing I haven’t seen this lady’s books before but will definitely be investigating now. Just need a few more hours in the day to fit in the sewing in between the knitting and crochet x

With technology and the speed of things nowadays, you sometimes forget the beauty and intricacies of handcrafted items. The simplicity of her work is beautiful and inspiring…wonderful works of art!
I have several of the earlier book and love them. I love the style and only wish I had more time to make even more items. I’d love to have a copy of this new book of patterns. So many things I’d just love to make or just drool over the possibilities!

Oh, such a lovely book. I have her others and would love this one too! Thanks for the giveaway.
Creativity abounds!
I have all of the previous books…or, I did until my daughter “borrowed” them and I had to buy another set! There is something precious about the preservation of “homely” arts that we were, just a few decades ago, so anxious to shed in our pursuit of more cutting edge, fleetingly popular design methods.
Thankful for sustainable sewing. Remembering the saints of the family who practiced this for years.
Appreciate sustainable sewing. Remembering the saints of the family who practiced the same.

Lovely new patterns! I have the two previous books by Natalie Chanin and I am excited to try the new techniques in this book!
