This all knit blanket is a study in simplicity. Knit in strips, it is a very portable project that requires with just a little simple seaming to finish. To size it up to afghan or coverlet proportions, just add squares, or make each square larger, or use a chunkier yarn and bigger needles - how easy is that? For a 5 color blanket, you will need 850-yards (170-yards per color) of worsted weight yarn and US size 8 needles OR size needed to obtain gauge. Gauge is18 stitches = 4 - inches in garter stitch.
