Felts Needles are ideal for stringing and making pilot holes in our felted wool balls. The flat portion of the tool separates the wool fibers rather than cutting or breaking them like a traditional pointed needle would. Breaking the wool fiber means a permanent hole is made in the ball. Because the Felts needle only separates the fibers, the holes re-seal themselves quickly. With a simple rocking action, use pointed end of needle to pierce the ball. Firmly grip the ball and pull the needle thru with or without cording. For extra heavy cording, use a pair of needle-nose pliers to firmly grasp the needle and pull thru.
