This pattern was originally created for our blog The Purl Bee, and now it's our first ever kit! Kit includes two patterns (a knit and a crochet version) and 7 skeins of beautiful Blue Sky Cotton (100% cotton, 100 grams, 150 yards each). Finished size is 9-inches in diameter. This kit will make an orange, lime and watermelon trivet and 2 pot holders (or 2 trivets and 4 pot holders) in either knit or crochet. Knitting needles and crochet hook are NOT included. [You will need a set of 5 US size 10.5 double pointed needles and a 16-inch US size 10.5 circular needle for the knit version. For the crocheted version you will need a size K hook. You will need a tapestry needle to sew in the ends and create the seeds on both versions].
