Purl Through The Back Loop (p tbl)
Learn how to create this twisted stitch by purling through the back loop. Instead of purling in the front of the stitch as usual, purl through the back leg of the stitch, bringing the working needle toward you in a customary purl motion. That’s it!
Can you add the : purl into the back” using English style
Since I can’t zoom the picture closer and with green yarn and Continental technique- j cannot learn this stitch.
Thank you
FAD
Hi Felicity,
Thanks for reaching out! Unfortunately we don’t have the resources at the moment to do another video for this stitch, but I will certainly pass your request along to the design team. It may help to keep in mind that the way you insert the right hand needle into the back of the stitch is completely the same no matter how you knit, and once your needle is in the stitch appropriately, you will proceed to purl it however you normally do.
I hope that clears things up!
Julianna
Hello,
Do you have a video on knitting through the back loop?
Hi Kim,
Thanks for writing in! I’m afraid we don’t have a video for knitting through the back loop, but I will be sure to pass your request along to the design team!
All the best,
Julianna
