Increase into Purl Bump
We use this unusual increase in our Ancient Stitch Scarf. It adds a smooth and subtle extra stitch. In order to work it, you knit into the purl bump of the next stitch, leave the stitch on the needle, and then knit into the back of the same stitch. On the right side of the work, this creates a left-leaning increase.
Botanical yoke pullover, join body and sleeves where do you start, what do you do with stitches taken off for under arm? ??
Hi Kit,
The sleeves will be joined to the body after you have knitted the yoke of the sweater. You start by attaching the left sleeve to the back of the sweater, knitting across the sleeve, and then continuing across the front of the sweater. The stitches set aside for the underarms will be grafted together after you have finished the sweater.
I hope this helps!
Happy knitting,
Oscar
