In love with these quirky prints, we’ve whipped up a new set of Molly’s fantastic Lap Duvets. Originally made from Nani Iro’s Spring 2011 collection, our Lap Duvets were later resurrected for a cuddly winter version in Ecrulet’s Flannel Stripes.

And now we bring you a summer-fresh palette of polka dotted blues and greens that perfectly reflect June skies, refreshing lakes, and splendid seas. Nothing beats these simple, lofty blankets! Materials

To make one 58 X 42-inch blanket:

  • 1 3/4 yards of Nani Iro’s Double Gauze. The prints used here, pictured above from top to bottom, are Pocho White, Grey, Aqua, Teal, Navy and Snow.
  • 1 3/4 yards of Moda’s Moda Muslin 200 count in the color Natural.
  • 1 throw size of Quilter’s Dream’s Wool Batting
  • 100% cotton thread. For the color White fabric, use the color 1040 thread; for the Grey, use 9045; for the Aqua, 7700; for the Teal, 7280; for the Navy, 7400; and for the Snow, 6080.
