A Nod to Purl from New York’s Bravest
We are honored that our humble storefront captured the attention of our friendly local firehouse EMS team, who chose it as their symbol of the neighborhood for their new uniform patch! They wanted to represent the vibrant arts scene of lower Manhattan, so they took our little slice of Sullivan Street and added some guitars to suit their "rockn" theme.
Now the 63rd precinct of FDNY – EMS will wear our neighborhood proudly on their uniform wherever they go! Not only are they brave, they have great taste too!
… the purl bunch is just amazing … inspiring near and far … good to know that the emergency squad is versed in all facets of work … onward and upward … did you have a bit of a helping hand in the fabulous colors and concocting the patch design … would be most fitting indeed … hasts off to all … mille baci …
how cool!

How neat! I’m not surprised that they added guitars though, can you imagine them running around with yarn on their patches. 😉 You have a lovely store front Purl. Congrat’s.
